I finished my second quilted jacket😍 this one fits much more to my liking. I couldn’t bring myself to add pockets because I love the way it looks. I did though add some clasps to them.

Go here to see where I got the clasps.

I used a new binding from a small business called Bessie Pearl Binding Co. Bessie Pearl Binding Co makes 100% cotton bias tapes and bias quilt bindings for the modern maker. They have the most adorable patterns too! I was pleasantly surprised at the variety. I love pretty prints and I see so many possibilities for these! These were lovely to work with.

Bessie Pearl Binding Co has a wonderful selection of bias tape including cute patterns. She offers bindings and blog posts with sewing tutorials. I particularly liked her tutorial on making bookmarks with binding. You can also find a chart that helps you figure out how much bias tape you would need. It shows how much they care about their products and their customers.

Most exciting… I have a special offer just for you all!! You can save 20% off an order of $50 or more, regular price items, valid until 11/30/25 using my special code Kristy20. Head on over HERE to check out all the wonderful bias tape offered.

Special thanks to Bessie Pearl for sending me some bias tape to use on my quilted coat!
