I started a collection of framed sunflowers. I always aim for some diversity in the flowers I draw. Mostly I just draw and paint what comes to me as I sit with the wood in front of me. Often visualizing different ways and flows to my flowers.
I think this one is my personal favorite. I love how the colors of the wood came out one stained. Sometimes I stain them and they don’t pop out as much as I’d like them to, personally. This one here is just so pretty to me!
Another personal favorite of mine are these wildflowers I painted with the same concept. The way they pop out make it so beautiful.
