Here is the list of supplies I often use when making my fabric rugs. I am linking all the items I personally use. You do not to use the same exact brands and types if you would like to use others that’s fine too. This is what has been working for me.
MUST HAVES
- Fabric
- Batting
- Thread
- Sewing Needles
- Sewing Machine
EXTRA SUPPLIES

As long as your sewing machine has a zigzag stich you can use it to make these fabric rugs. I like to use pins to hold my fabric in place as needed as well as a small iron to help press that fabric in place.
The fabric you use can be precut like the jelly roll bundles or you can cut your own fabric. Same goes for the batting. You can use scrap fabric you have, cut your own, or use the precut batting rolls. Anything goes!
If you would like to shop all these items I have complied a handy list of them here. This includes precut fabrics I like, fat quarters, batting I use, shipping supplies I use and more!
